ClassWeb is no longer being used at the
University of Minnesota.
ClassWeb will no longer be available for course sites at the University of Minnesota. Many factors, both technical and administrative have contributed to the decision to move away from ClassWeb, and adopt WebCT as the standard course management tool at the University of Minnesota.

We understand that this transition will be difficult for some faculty members, and we are very interested in helping make the transition as relatively painless as possible. Please contact us for help in the following areas:

  • Information about WebCT can be found at the University of Minnesota WebCT Support Site at webct.umn.edu, or you can contact the WebCT support team, via e-mail at webct@umn.edu
  • The WebCore assistance program can help in converting courses from ClassWeb to WebCT (fees apply). Call 624-0004 for details.
